areksu is a music project of Alexandra Feusi, founded in 2025. Working between Vienna, Zurich and Kyoto, she moves between visual art and music, combining voice and synthesizer in a deliberately reduced, intimate approach.
Singing mainly in Japanese and English, areksu emerged from her connection to Japan and a desire to keep the language alive.
The music embraces imperfection and the traces of the creative process — “professionally unprofessional” — rather than polished perfection.
Rooted in presence, spontaneity and joy, areksu explores music as an open process rather than a finished product.
